If you’ve been to any site that syndicates news today, you’ve likely heard about Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy. Many people were shocked with the onslaught of the news, while others were anything but surprised. How does this situation pertain to making money online? Read on, the parallels may surprise you.

Lesson 1 : Proving People Wrong Is Harder Than It Looks

If I recall correctly, Jamie Lynn said on numerous occasions that she planned to differ from her sister in respect to her behavior and lifestyle choices. To be honest, I even bought into some of her crap. I mean who wouldn’t think that she’d make wiser choices given the current state of her older sister? Well, Jamie managed to do anything but prove the public wrong. She’s pregnant at 16 without any stable plans for the foreseeable future - very smart.

If there’s one thing to learn from her current dilemma it’s that proving people wrong is not as easy as it appears. When each and every one of your actions are questioned by the public, it can often become difficult to distinguish right from wrong. I’m in no way trying to defend what she did as it was clearly idiotic, but I am trying to say that people living in an environment such as the one she currently lives in are predisposed to making poor decisions, and thus making it harder for them to prove others wrong.

How does this all tie in to making money online? Well, we have all at one time or another enountered friends who doubt money can be made online. So we set out to prove them wrong. While our footsteps aren’t closely monitored by the media or the public, we do have to deal with other influences (obligations such as work) that make it difficult to prove others wrong. That being said, the next time you set out to prove your buddies wrong, make sure that you are up to the task so that you don’t disappoint yourself in the end.

Lesson 2 : The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree

Jamie Lynn’s current dilemma proves one thing - that the apple rarely falls far from the tree. If we shift our focus to her older sister Britney, we can see that both took a similar path as they were slowly catapulted to stardom. Britney started out as a sweet girl who slowly found her way to the dark side. Jamie Lynn seems to be taking a faster yet similar path - quite unfortunate if you ask me.

If we think back to Agloco’s fallout from last week, we can spot some similarities between it and Jamie Lynn’s woes. Agloco’s older sister, AllAdvantage was doing well until it began to underestimate it’s succcess, much like Britney. So, we saw it’s downfall. Then, we saw the emergence of Agloco - which decided to take the plunge a bit sooner than AllAdvantage, much like Jamie Lynn.
