Personal Blogs

The minute people hear that they can generate some sort of income online, they launch a blog and start writing about their cat Muffin. Let me assure you that if you take this route, you will not make a dime. Why? Well, your chances of making any potential income lie all in your visitors.

You have to ask yourself who will visit your blog. That’s right, family members and close friends. And it stops there. In a personal blog, you are not providing any information that could be of any value to the casual web surfer. As a result, you aren’t going to get any visitors; no visitors = no money.

So my recommendation is as follows: pick a profitable niche that has low competition, and most importantly one that you are passionate about. Then, blog about it! Simple, effective, and profitable.
