Using Content Generators

October 21st, 2007 Posted in Uncategorized

Content, Content, Content. That’s what everybody alludes to when you ask how to build more traffic to your blog. But really, building content can be boring. Why do it when we can automate the process using content generators? Smart, right? Wrong.

Content Generators Aren’t Bright

Most content generators work in the same way. You input a list of keywords and they go online and scrape some content. They then piece it together with some other junk to form unique content. Sounds like an incredible innovation, doesn’t it? Well, sadly its not. Content generators are anything but smart; they piece together the information in such a way that they make it unreadable. All this just to evade search engine duplicate content filters.

When You Use Content Generators, You’re Polluting The Internet

Whenever you build content for a site using a content generator, you are contributing to the massive amount of pollution already on the internet. The internet was created as a means of exchanging information, not useless crap. If you’re looking to make money online, do it the right way by building original and useful content yourself.

Content Is Not The Only Name In The Game

Search engines love content, but that’s not all their interested in. Search engines tend to also adore backlinks. If you have tons of relevant backlinks pointing to your site, chances are that you’re receiving a massive amount of traffic from them. If you have no backlinks pointing to your site, you’re probably not receiving any traffic. This is the issue with blogs that have computer generated content. Nobody wants to link to them, so getting traffic can be difficult. If you were to build a blog around some human generated content, building backlinks would be as big of an issue.

Time Is Of The Essence

In an online environment, time is always of the essence. If you waste your time playing around with content generators, I can almost guarantee you’ll get nowhere fast. STOP looking for an easy way out, none exist for making money online. You need to invest time and elbow grease to turn over any profit online.
